Our highly skilled team brings a wealth of experience in e-commerce strategy, organic SEO and Social Media Marketing dating back almost three decades. Our roots go back to 1995, in the cutting-edge technology and innovation lab established by Barclaycard. From those early days, we forged ahead, securing venture capital to create our own ideas hub at the dawn of the new millennium.
This venture evolved into a thriving web development and SEO agency, quickly becoming one of the UK’s leading firms. With a history of related business acquisition and a team of 55 marketing professionals spread across five offices and three continents, we became a major player in the online services industry, eventually selling out to a quoted PLC in 2010. Our key management team stayed on as consultants for the Group, but our passion for hands-on work led us to pursue what we loved most and in 2012, we quit to launch Seriously Helpful Online Marketing, a new agency with the vision and dedication of delivering top-tier bespoke organic SEO, social media, and strategic consultancy at fair, fixed prices for smaller businesses —with no hidden costs or unnecessary hassle.
After a decade’s continued success, 2024 saw us take an exciting new step and rebrand to Page, but our appetite for client results and growth remains the same as they have since day one.
Everything we do is rooted in ethical practices, taking a holistic approach to online marketing, all delivered by our UK-based team. We’re proud to say that, on average, we help our clients double their business every three years.
Today, we are a close-knit team of eight, each with an average of 12 years of experience in online marketing and many more years of experience in other areas, such as retail, customer service and marketing. In addition, all full time employees are shareholders in the business, so we have a real insight in the problems faced by all business owners.
As a company that values our team’s well-being, we were among the first to fully transition to working from home in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This shift has not only enhanced our productivity and creativity but has also allowed us to offer our clients even more dedicated hours and innovative thinking.
